Letter of Gratitude

Our teacher in black

To our beloved Teacher,

It is our great honor to be your students. With your favorable and adorable closeness to us, a bunch of respect and love surfaced our personality and individual upbringings that dramatically change our viewpoints in life. You have taught us two important things in our life as students-values and appreciation. You have taught us how to value life and appreciation of the subject despite of the fact that it is not our so-loved subject; despite of the reality that several times we have taken it for granted and despite of the verity that we have been so delinquent and unconscious of the things you were telling us every now and then. Despite of our unrighteous behavior, you seemed and faithfully lowered your anger and humbly increase your patience to us. Gone are those days we felt “muddy” and pretentious since you’ve had succeeded in instilling, inculcating, and incorporating to us self-respect, self-actualization and self-realization.

With this opportunity given to us, allow us to extend our humble and humane gratitude and thanks for all the things you gave to us-time, effort, patience and love. Thank you for letting us experience the best taste of life as your students. Thank you for letting us experience the thrill and fear during major examinations, quizzes and even group presentations and reporting. Thank you for extending your patience to us every time we request for time allowance and any favor we believe can make us happy. This enthralling, breath-taking and one-of-kind-experience in the summer class are points to be valued and appreciated. Our individual experiences in Filipino 121 will forever be recorded and will always be part of our youthful days in school. If there could have been a word that is more sufficing, best relaxing and soothing other than “thank you,” it shall probably be the word we tell to you; it will surely be the exact word that will come from our very mouth. We know saying “thank you” may not be adequate but we firmly believe it means more than giving our life to you.

Bb. Sienes, today will be the best day of demarcation of our life as students because this shall always be re-incarnated like souls, remembered like life-going memories and shall always be put to mine like learning in one’s respective field of studies. We may be going to our respective journey and endeavors in life but not our memoirs for it will always remain. And rest assured the teachings of values formation, life reformation and societal invocation you have taught to us shall never be forgotten not for the very reason of loss of memory because you are just simply an amazing teacher. With loopholes, glitches and flaws or even none, your way of making us to nearly-perfect-individuals will always be remembered. And we pray that the Almighty Father will continue to shower his abundant blessings to you whether it is financial, emotional, physical and even political in nature.  We hope you will continue your goodness to other students that will be under to your instructorship prior to your teaching career. Moreover, we hope you shall not quit giving in your service and allegiance to the government.

Lastly, we look forward to meeting you soon in our professional life in the near future as we may be going through if not halted because of illiteracy, ignorance or even unrealistic demeanor. May not be the insufficient time become a reason of your unavailability and insecurity of your educational and academic journey towards fruitful and progressive growth in the academe. May God bless you until eternity. Maraming salamat mula sa kaibuturan ng aming puso’t damdamin.

With best regards,

Your students
