How to resist from temptation?

The Bible Dictionary defines temptation as “an enticement or invitation to sin, with the implied promise of greater good to be derived from following the way of disobedience.” Resisting temptation begins with knowing that Satan is the supreme “tempter” (Matthew 4:3; 1 Thessalonians 3:5) who has been tempting mankind since our Creator placed His first two children in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3; 1 John 3:8). Ultimately, however, we know that Satan’s power over Christians has been effectively destroyed as the war has already been won through our Savior’s death and resurrection which conquered the power of sin and death forever. Nonetheless, Satan still prowls the earth looking to drive a wedge between God and His children, and his temptations are unfortunately a daily part of our lives (1 Peter 5:8). Yet with the power of the Holy Spirit and the truth of God’s Word to help us, we will find ourselves effectively resisting temptations.
The apostle Paul encourages us with these words: “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man” (1 Corinthians 10:13). Indeed, every one of us faces temptations of some kind; even Jesus was not immune as He was “tempted in every way, just as we are” (Hebrews 4:15). Although Satan may be the dark force ultimately behind the tempting, it is our fallen and corrupted human nature that allows these temptations to take root and cause us to act on them, thereby “giving birth to sin” (James 1:15). But it is the power of the Holy Spirit that enables us to free ourselves from the sin and temptations we struggle within our daily lives. Thus, if we have the Spirit of Christ residing in our hearts, we already have what it takes to resist the flaming arrows the devil sends our way. As Paul told the Galatians, “live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature” (Galatians 5:16).
The Word of God has always been our best defense against Satan’s temptations, and the better we know His Word, the easier it will be to claim victory over our daily struggles. The Psalmist tells us “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you” (Psalm 119:11). When Christ was tempted by Satan in the desert, the first thing He did was to quote Scripture (Matthew 4:4-10), which eventually caused the devil to leave Him. Indeed, Christians need to be diligent in studying God’s Word. “Oh how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long. Your commands make me wiser than my enemies” (Psalm 119:97-98).
In addition to God’s Word, prayer can help us to resist temptation. The night He was betrayed, Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane and He told Peter to pray “so that you will not fall into temptation” (Mark 14:38). Also, in the “Lord’s Prayer,” Jesus taught us to pray that we would not be lead into temptation (Matthew 6:13; Luke 11:4). Yet, when we do fall into temptation, we know that “God is faithful; He will not let us be tempted beyond what [we] can bear,” and that He will provide us with a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13). This is a promise from God, and like Abraham, Christians should be “fully persuaded” that God has the power to do what He has promised (Romans 4:21).
Another way to help us resist temptation is to remember what Jesus Christ did for us. Even though He never committed a sin, He willingly endured the torture of the Cross for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). Every sin we’ve ever committed, or will commit, played a part in nailing our Savior to the Cross. How we respond to Satan’s worldly allurements is a great indicator as to just how much the love of Jesus Christ occupies our hearts.
Now, even though Christians already have the tools necessary for victory, we need to use our common sense and not place ourselves in situations that prey upon, or stimulate, our weaknesses. We are already bombarded every day with images and messages that tantalize our sinful lusts. We don’t need to make it more difficult than it already is. Even though Christ’s Spirit resides in our hearts, it is cloaked with our flesh which can be very weak at times (Matthew 26:41). When we know something is or can be sinful, Paul warns us to “flee from it.” Remember, the “tempter” is also the master of rationalization, and there is no limit to the arguments the devil can offer us to justify our sinful behavior.

Armed with His Spirit and the truth of His Word, we are well equipped to overcome Satan’s assaults (Ephesians 6). No matter what trials and temptations come our way, God’s Word and Spirit are infinitely more powerful than any of Satan’s schemes. When we walk with the Spirit we can look at temptations as opportunities for us to show God that He is indeed the Master of our lives.

Hangout with friends

After a very tiring 'speech choir competition in our English class, I, together with the rest of my classmates went to Tejeros to celebrate our victory. Abundantly situated in Valencia, Tejeros swimming pool has been a place for refreshment to all people who want to have their happiness. With its cool and fresh water, one could  probably enjoy its features. Coincidentally, our class found it awesome to spare our hangouts.

Despite the fact that we only grabbed  the 9th spot, we were still happy since the experience was great. On the first part of the competition,  mixtures of anxiety and excitement enveloped our faces. Well then, who would not say we performed well? Of course we have to appreciate ourselves! Good work guys!

Here are some of the pictures we had during our picnic and bonding in Tejeros. I am pleased to present these to you.

After being soaked in a cool water in Tejeros, this lad strive to make his body warm through sitting beside these four hot girls with all his might to fight the coolness of the water.

The mighty people! Surfaced with sheer delight, these classmates of mine have done something commendable in their performance during the competition.  Though you have moderate voices, you still able to surprise the audience through projecting your best moves and gestures.

Together with me were the winners. After drunk, these people portrayed the best pose they can. Look at their faces  in a seemingly tired mode.

These lasses are already drank. Hahaha, ang mga nawong baya oh. Mga palahubog!

The cool boy. Clad with Tanduay, this boy who performed the  "Manny Pacman Pacquiao " role in the competition proved his good performance indeed. Standing towards the pool's  fountain, he almost patches the ground posing a long period of time.

So hot. A body of pure masculinity. This is me. I was already drunk this moment. Nahubog na jud ko ani. Sakit kaayo ako ulo.. Sorry ha  niinom jud ko makahubog nga ilimnon.

Touching the nature! This girls with me was also drunk. So I tried to manage her pose since she almost collapsed. Hindi man masyadong maganda, pero ok narin basta mabait.

A genuine happiness. Go guys, we will hopefully have this again after our finals. For now  lets us focus  into our practice for the final countdown.

I am man of true virtue this time. Being their leader I tried managing their every pose  to be the best.

Happy again.

haha, murag abat ni oh. kulang pa na imo ngisi day,,.

Go guys! How many fingers you have?

These memories are lasting, I would treasure all of these. See you on the next time we will have another event like this guys...

On the Day Forward

It was just yesterday when I thought of her while sitting in a chair with an eyes starred to a corner of vanity. Well, who would believe that because of constant fellowship would open to a especial feeling?

NORSU, lone source of PhD Math in Visayas

Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) pioneers the offering of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics program in the entire Visayas after Dr. Michael Baldado’s success in his PhD career.

To augment the PhD in Mathematics teaching force, the administration is eyeing for Millard Mamhot, a PhD in Mathematical Sciences professor and Luz Nochefranca, a PhD in Mathematics professor from Paris.

In an interview with The NORSUnian, Dr. Baldado expressed his willingness in extending his knowledge to Math aspirants. Moreover, he expressed his happiness for another noble undertaking of the university. “I am happy that NORSU once again took another bold step; the offering of the PhD Math program,” he said.

On same accoutrement according to Dr. Baldado, Negros Oriental State University is the only state university in the entire Visayas offering the PhD in Math program.

At present, Dr. Baldado has 12 Math professor students and are currently studying of the said program. These math professor students include Engr. Mae Manahon, Engr. Joel Adanza, Mrs. Jacel Lincong, and Mrs. Normina Batucan from NORSU. Moreover, he has two students from University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) in Bacolod, two from Negros State College of Agriculture (NeSCA) in Kabankalan, two from Silliman University (SU), one from the Department of Education (DepEd) and one from St. Louie School -Don Bosco.

Furthermore, the subjects that were offered for this semester are Real Analysis, Modern Math and Combinatorics.

Engr. Joel Adanza and Jacel Lincong, both faculty members of NORSU, said that they were very happy since the school has taken another level of excellence like the offering of the said course.

“It is very advantageous to us since we need not go to far-flung areas to have a study of our doctoral degree,” opined the two. “It is very economical because we need not use big amount of money for transportation and food allowance like when you study in Mindanao or Manila,” they added.

Moreover the two expressed hope that they can graduate with best knowledge since the curriculum is adopted the same from Mindanao State University and other higher education in the Philippines offering PhD in math.

Great Achievements

NORSU-CEA produces 3 EE, 2 CE grads

The Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) – College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) produced three Electrical Engineers and two Civil Engineers during the April 2011 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination (EELE) and May 2011 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination (CELE).

Of the five Norsunian EELE takers, three made it to the brim, giving NORSU a 60% passing score compared to the 40.43% national passing rate. Meanwhile, two Norsunian CELE takers out of three passed the examination and gave NORSU a 66.67% passing score compared to the 38.34% national passing rate set by the Professional Regulation Commission.

This year’s passers in the field of Electrical Engineering include Hernando Nemaria Gabutero, Wilfredo Adling Husayaw and Kem Silorio Sechico while Maria Angelina Sumanoy and Nelvie Magsipoc Lizada were the successful passers in the field of Civil Engineering.

Sought for his reaction, outgoing CEA dean Roberto Antonio said that he was very happy about the result of the exams, considering that NORSU exceeded the passing rate provided.

Although the college did not muster a 100 percent passing rate this time, he said that the CEA family was still delighted with the result since NORSU has been consistent in garnering high passing rates during EELEs and CELEs.

Bernardino Paguican, a second year Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) student, said that he was delighted with the result since NORSU got a high passing rate compared to the national. He furthered that he was very proud because it is a big achievement not just for their college but for the whole NORSU system as well.

Another sophomore BSME student, Kirk Megan Parong, said that the result of the recent board exam proved that NORSU is a top performing school for engineering compared to other schools in the country. He added that CEA has competent faculty members who are capable of teaching the students with the correct knowledge needed to become equipped engineers.

Parong said that he was encouraged to strive harder despite the difficult tasks and problems of a student. He added that he will do his best to achieve his desired profession.

Baldado, Bernaldez earn doctorates

Michael Baldado and Carlou Bernaldez have attained Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics (Ph.D. in Math) and Doctor of Education (D.P.E) Major in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) degrees, respectively.

Baldado graduated on April 8, 2011 in Mindanao State University (MSU) - Iligan Institute of Technology (IIT). He presented his dissertation entitled “On the Security and Eternal Security in Networks.”

Meanwhile, Bernaldez graduated on May 29, 2011 in Southwestern University (SWU) in Cebu City. His thesis entitled “Kasal Dauinanon, Dauin, Negros Oriental, Philippines” won as the best dissertation and he was awarded as the Best Dissertation Writer.

Physical Education

It is for a fact that Bernaldez is the only D.P.E M.P.Ed graduate in the entire Negros Oriental.

He finished Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) major in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) in NORSU. On 2001, he was the pioneer of Master of Arts in Physical Education.

As the former cultural coordinator of Dauin, he shared that what made him win the award was his written Dance Literature. It contained the whole dance steps with which he personally added melodies. According to him, he chose that certain topic because it is his legacy and being the first to document the dance, he believes that it will become a history.

“I am proud and greatly honored for this achievement that I’ve brought to NORSU,” he said.

Mathematics

Baldado finished his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Silliman University in 1997. He continued his Master’s degree in Mathematics at NORSU and graduated in 2005.

He had also published two international articles in the International Math Forum and had presented a research paper in the Mathematics Society of the Philippines convention held in Kidapawan City, where he won as the best presenter in the Graph Theory category.

He had also presented another research paper in the national level held at the University of Santo Tomas entitled “Eternal m-Security Numbers of the Join, Composition, and Kronecker Product of Graphs.”

Baldado shared that he acquired his scholarship from the Commission on Higher on Education (CHED) - High Education Development Program (HEDP) Faculty Development Program. However, he related that CHED - HEDP’s scholarship only lasted for three years. NORSU supported him for the remaining two years of his study where he was allowed to go on study leave with pay.

“I am so thankful to the university president, Dr. Henry A. Sojor, for his full support to scholars like me,” he expressed.

Become a better you

“Life is a puzzle. Every piece fits together to create who we are. What we do, how we feel, every experience shapes us into who we eventually we become” And that is true, in everything we do, we all want to be better. We want to become more effective and productive in our lives because that what makes us acceptable in the society.

In this more revolutionary community, the acceptance of every individual depends on his level of moral attitude. Apart from that, people from a certain society acknowledge persons with higher level of mental, and emotional control, and of course, educational background. In this issue, let The NORSUnian bring you the 6 ways on how to create a better you. This article will help you mold a better persona of yourself, and be mesmerized! As it changes you as you will apply them into your life.

Look forward. We know that you are associated with life’s ups and downs. As a student, you probably experienced the scarcity of money and food but, that’s not a valid reason for you to give up. Remember, you are given the ability to balance everything. Thus, you must be optimistic.

Be positive always. Bad happenings occur to people who are pessimists because they tend to look at things in the negative way. If you think you are handicapped to do certain things, then you are a certified loser! Why not encourage yourself instead! It is the right time to claim that you can do all the things others can do. Never mind those people who criticize you, they are not your mom!

Be friendly. Expressing love is the best way to develop better relationship. When you understand one’s condition and act upon it, you are probably doing well. Do not keep on staying inside a shell, move out and explore the world. Venture yourself with the people around you and let them touch your life as much as you also touch theirs.

Develop an inquisitive personality. It is imperative for you to seek what is good. It is your right to ask for privacy. It is your right to question what went wrong in your community and it is your right to enjoy. Developing an inquisitive personality simply implies developing your inner life. Be an evaluator to a certain case, issue or problem. Know the solutions and apply it to the problem. Likewise, as students of NORSU, help find solutions and extend help to the ones that need it.

Practice the art of Patience. For sure, you are delicate and sensitive when the topic is all about your personal life. For instance, when someone disturbs you, you think of them as pesters or when you ask favor from your parents and are not given, you thought them unkind. Learn to wait since everything has its right time.

Control your character. This is the hard one since you’ve been living this world all your life and changing your character for the better is really tough. It is very difficult to change what you had practiced for the past few years. But hey! There is no such a thing as to change, but you just need to control yourself. Control your anger, fear, mouth, and anything that might ruin your image because, whether you like it or not, you must adopt the environment you are living in. And gradually, you will realize that you are already changing into a better person. Because all you should know is that, controlling ones emotion is an inch further in changing his entire personality.

There is a vast opportunity that will come into your life. So, as long as you stick to what is right and good, you will be fine. I hope that this will inspire you to do better things in your life. Change for the better because this will help you to become successful in all your endeavors in life! Long live Norsunians!

Almost true

Sometimes, in your life, you need to choose two different paths ─ the past and the present. And sometimes, though the past left you wounded, you still want to be there because it’s the only thing that makes you happy.

It has been a year ago since she left me without a trace. I don’t know what had happen to our love story. I have to admit, the very first month we went in separate ways was quite painful. I tried different ways to get in touch with her but still I failed.

After a few months of the wait, I turned weak and pale because of the constant sleepless nights and days. I also became too absent-minded in school, and in home, too. I was disturbed from my daily routines because I kept on thinking about her. I prayed, and hoped for her to come back. I promised to myself that when she comes back I’ll forget about the hurt and pain. I’ll forgive her and the two of us could start all over again.

I was too hopeless romantic. I was desperate for her to come back but, I realized that I have to move on. I got myself busy by doing lazy things to ease the pain she sowed in my fragile heart. I decided to court another girl whom I believe could help me solve my emotional problem. I was so crazy making me believed that all was going fine. I was a fool since everything I did results to failure. I couldn’t even forget her.

Several months after, I faced a big decision of opening the door of loving another being. I found another gorgeous, seductive, and kind lady that brought hope to my life. To make it short, we ended up into a happy relationship. We went to school together and I helped her with her assignments in math. During our vacant times, we talked much and went shopping.

I must admit, our relationship went deeper and sentimental, things went serious. We took a decision of giving ourselves in the middle of the night. We performed things which were supposed to be done by a married couple.

Every time she has problems with her family, she shared it to me. And of course, I did everything to comfort her and give her contentment. I told myself she‘s the right lady for me because she’s like a flower that scented my heart to love once again, a heart that once gone broken. I seemed to entrust everything to her ─ my whole love and life.

I thought we would end up happily ever after but, I was wrong. I woke up one morning, facing the reality that we cannot both be happy since there is something wrong with our relationship ─ I did not fully forget my ex-love.

It was just yesterday that my ex-girl friend showed herself to me, asking me a favor, to love her once more. I asked her why she left me; she said that it was about her parents forcing her to go Manila to work. Her parents confiscated her cell phone, thus, was the reason why she can’t communicate with me but, she decided to stay to be with me. I felt pity for her since I knew within myself that I still love for her.

What about my current girlfriend? Will I just let her go? This hard thing I am facing right now is no joke. I was confused and at the same time, scared. I need to decide! I can’t forget the pain I had with her! It reminds me that I’m such coward to decide. I cried loudly. I can’t move my body. I can’t even twist my finger. What was happening to me exactly?

So long after that, I was awakened by a rat which bit my left foot in the middle of the night. I was just having a dream, I was just dreaming! I stood up and I went to the kitchen, washed my face with cold water, and eventually, was relieved from the traumatic dream. I drank a glass of water and later on, my blood streams started to function normally again. The short trauma I had with my dream brought a moral lesson that one should value a relationship; one should not hurt someone and one should have a heart that waits.

Long across the past of future..

What comes in your mind when you hear the word "past of future?"

Is there really such thing? Well its for you to discover as you go on reading my simple blog yet contentious in nature.

It was seven years young when this institution became a republic institution or known as Negros Oriental State University or NORSU. Long before it has undergone many outcasting and great development under the leadership of the Honorable Henry A. Sojor. The infrastructural improvement elevated the spirit of NORSU in particular. The eco-tourism inhabits the cognitive system that the school is performing. NOW,the whole system shall witness the 'giant' innovation that the university has designed.

To recall, CVPC before has only small resources, few students, few teachers, and less infrastructural development. But now, I proudly present to you the outrageous changes in NORSU.

The buildings, faculty, students, and cooperatives were just few of the thousands improvements the school has acquired right now.

Results of board passers, known board topnotcher, and even world-widely prominent individuals that NORSU had produced were some evidences that would attest how NORSU has improved.

Today is the celebration-commemoration of NORSU's existence. WE, the students, the faculty, and the administrators were hand-in-hand making the school boosts its root life after the seven years of becoming a state university throughout the Visayas and Mindanao region.

I do hereby acknowledge, my pride, my future, and my home..

Simulating truth...

I once said, a certain learner must face the corresponding consequence of life if 'balance' is obstructed. And this exactly what happened to me. I therefore say that once you cannot balance between your work and study, you will surely be surprised of its revenge...

I took the test given by the teacher in my math 126 class. I supposed I can answer all the questions, but I was not able to bring it to the brim. Yes, I felt relaxed believing that nothing is hard.

I over laid my mind thinking the possible effects I can get after failing the 15 item exam. Our teacher who happened to be strict lays a splendid motor in my mind. I was saddened when I knew that she was giving us simple test.

I can't figure out of where I got actually lost. Moments after, I got to realize that I was just sitting listening to our teacher's discussions in no mind. Yes, complicated, but true!

Our teacher had been discussing the lesson in 'histogram' and 'frequency polygon'to us with her might and yet, I was stabbed with no proper mind set, trending me confusions and latter do not understood what actually our teacher was saying.

Oh men! I got be stabbed really. I don't want of course fail the subject!

I tried to quiz my mind and pointed out the factors of why I was having a failing remarks. There I got answer of 'imbalance.'

Yes, I was therefore focusing my mind beating the deadline of the articles that I used to pass every week. The company therefore seemed to be the reason of my failure.

But, no, Its not the publication nor the subject. It is just because, I do not merely balance both.

I glanced for a moment looking into the four walls of the university. I reached to the point of saying, 'everything is over for radical mindset.' " I need to do my job as student as the same as a journalist.

I promised I should do it, before one thing is late....

Subjects are turning hard this time

For normal students like me, the answer of the question Why? is simply yes.
I glanced for a blink when I noticed that my subjects are getting harder this time. Yes, turning harder I guessed. Our math 135, 128, 126,and other related minors in particular. Questioning like why is it so, is simply a bolt making myself feared of the subject, well who wouldn't? I guessed most if not all experienced the same thing.

I got a blade, sharpening my mind not to utter even words such as fear and fright. But I can't really kept in touch to let it flew away from my mind. I wonder how can I do my part as a journalist in the company I was working with, The NORSUNian. I got frightened If I will fail the subject nor beat the deadline in passing the articles.

Help me, I felt bad this time, I got even hard time to study. My mind was confused. I am thinking the right way,but i can't! What could have went wrong in me?

I just pray and believe that I can overcome this phobia. I don't like get low grades. I want to prove to them that I am deserving no less than others.

Friends, help me find refuge as I venture my life to the craziest part of this semester.

My Cool Teacher

I attended my class today with the subject College Physics. Our teacher who was Prof. Iso was really great. I never thought he would impressed me like the other professors do. Yes, he was good in his profession, he has what we call expertise in his field. At 10, which was our class with him normally starts had offered me happiness after the long day pain in my heart. It was the first day of our class when he introduced to us what he called "humility by nature.'" I applauded my claps to him in secret beyond the thoughts of my classmates of the said subject. It added the learning I have withheld. Though funny but its true.

There, he explained to us the concepts of Physics apart from its nature. However, I can't help but laugh when he said that we are just hundreds of billions dusts in our galaxy, The milky Way galaxy. Our topic actually opens a wide horizons to the understanding of the real world.

I can't even imagine that light travels at the speed of 3x10⁸ m/s, that was of course using the light waves. Imagine how I imagine it. It was really cool and amazing to know that we were in a whirlpool body of terrestrials bounded no limits at time.

After the discussions, Prof. Iso incorporated the value of being humble as the law of man was concerned. He emphasized to us using Einstein's concept, stating that "All are probable but not all are certain." Thus pointing us the value of balance.

Our teacher was really good of course, he had really sense of humor. He let us laugh to the expense of nothing. Yes indeed.

I hope to know him more as well as learning form his expertise. Since it was our first encounter, we believe that we 'll get more closer as we go on with our subject.

Ang simula ng aking Pagningning

"Do not stop believing"

Yes, totoo, sikat ang pahayagang "The NORSUnian," dahil ito'y isa lamang sa tatlong paaralang kolehiyo sa buong Pilipinas that comes out weekly.

It's now then that I sense myself developing.

Grievance beyond Politics

"If you can't accept the truth, don't vote for me, I'm too lazy to lie."

A statement which was irrevocably relayed by a famous and renowned novelist, the author of several books including one of his masterpiece called "Dominion Principle," who received honored distinctions. He is Adam Kennedy.

Thus, after i had read his excerpt, I came to realize that a nation when ruled and ran by a moral-led entity, will really progress. When I tried to scan the history, I could have recalled the leadership ran by Senator Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" Aquino Sr. who meditatively aiming to run for the presidential election in 1978. Appurtenance was brought to snap election and constitutionally brought brutal damages to property, lives of million people and other civic groups in the society.

To recall, Former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos intentionally killed Aquino to sustain his power in governing the country. Media was indebted since the power was coming from Marcos and in one signal, all will be arrested who dares to say against his immoral governance.

However, like Aquino, Marcos predicatively done something beneficial in the society. He restored state's poor condition and brought fears among other disorganized group like the MILF or the MORO ISLAMIC LIBERATION FRONT and many others. Terrorism was also stopped during his regime.

Opposite to Aquino's administration, Marcos prevalently confiscates mishandled firearms. He don't like, people who were hardheaded and killed them if found guilty. In addition, his bravery despite of the people's misinterpretation in his governance, still imbued making the country prolifically outgrow from the other nations in ASIA.

After the twentieth years in power, Marcos confoundedly proven guilty after he had abused his power. He was strict and committed many crimes, allegations and anomalies which brought people to dislike him. After discovering that he was cursed and unitedly people were distorting his position, he then compound to implement SNAP elections after his dictatorial regime.

To define, snap election is an election called earlier than expected. Generally it refers to an election in a parliamentary system called when not required (either by law or convention), usually to capitalize on a unique electoral opportunity or to decide a pressing issue. It differs from a recall election in that it is initiated by politicians (usually the head of government or ruling party) rather than voters. Because the power to call snap elections usually lies with the incumbent, they frequently result in increased majorities for the party already in power having been called at an advantageous time, however there have been cases of snap elections backfiring and resulting in an opposition party's winning or gaining power.

After the tiring dilemma brought by Marcos, people got scared on him. Government state configures his misbehavior and later decide for his failure.

Going back to Aquino's leadership, was intrinsically mournful. After he was assassinated, there were attestations that he made the life of the people contented, thus sort of comforts given to their hearts. Aquino in one way restored the pain after he succeeded Quirino's triumps in governance.

Finishing College: The end or the beginning?

Parents are extremely happy more than the graduates do.

Yes, that is true! I am fervent to see those fresh grads marching along the stage and receive recognitions from what they have invested for the past four years in studying in college. Recently, the Negros Oriental State University (NORSU)commenced the fruitful endeavor of the graduates of batch 2011. Indeed, you are the sole prefecture of our nation into achieving the long-aimed "PROGRESS."

Your parents are undoubtedly whispering the hostile scent of Success!Yes, theoretically! The countless sacrifices they had endured in your education really been paid off. The monetary expenses they have alloted in you education have finally been paid off after seeing you marching along the stage, which only means they have done their part in sending you to school. I would believe that the success you have attained this day will forever be the a history. The parents and guardians deserved the outpouring joy. Not the least is your alma mater, who in one way molding you and making you professionals. The school is also happy seeing you in particular. The molders should never be forgotten, who mentally, physically, socially, spiritually and intellectually making you better person. The name they have entrusted to you as professionals is the proof that you have reached and soared high beyond your expectations.

However, this only marks the beginning of your respective journey in life. You still have to wrestle and compete the million of graduates in looking for a stable job. Yes, It may sounds absurd, but that is the reality. You have noticed, many graduates in the previous years who have no jobs yet. Many are complaining and murmuring of their situation. And somehow questioned, why did they go to school when in fact they do not have the Luck? Figuratively, the only two answer are, they are not qualified to that position, or maybe no job vacancy.

Apart from the insidious fact that many graduates who had graduated from their courses are now applying irrelevant to what they had finished. This only means that what they have learned in school were not given value. Incessant of the fact that they were very 'unfortunate.'
But the fate is not that much cruel, despite the flaws, he still give chances. Many agencies have offered jobs to satisfy the call of those people. And to state, many have landed jobs. But, there are still people who have nothing-those people who have chosen the 'inappropriate' courses. Sorry to say, but that is the realm of painful reality.

The shorts of being unfortunate are acquired on the wrong move you have done. The choice is within you, if you have chosen the right one, then, you will surely succeed, opposite to it is the failure, forfeiture of opportunities.

Well then, we should be practical. We must admit that only few who after graduation went directly to a job. Yes that is exactly true! I would have to believe that all of the graduates of this batch could have land respective jobs.

The bottom line is that, if you are not that persistent, determined, hard-working and optimistic, then you will surely face the cruelty of fate!
